Lululemon looks for a leader who’s more lulu than lemon

Following the February departure of CEO Laurent Potdevin who left Lululemon Athletica Inc. for misconduct reasons, the company’s board is seeking a replacement who can help the organization grow internationally while rehabilitating its internal culture. The search will involve a far more extensive background check: “Even an inkling of questionable conduct in the past is going to be viewed as a major risk to the corporation,” Mike Magsig, managing partner at executive-search firm DHR International Inc., told Bloomberg and the Toronto Star, which have listed several candidates.
