The Vancouver Canucks haven’t been selling many tickets this year compared to seasons past when the team was at the top of the league.

But you wouldn’t know it by the last couple of games. A routine contest against the Arizona Coyotes to close out the season on Thursday has become one of the hottest tickets of all time at Rogers Arena, as Henrik and Daniel Sedin will be playing their last game at home.

According to the Vancouver Provinceupper bowl tickets available on the Canucks website on Monday morning were priced around $45 CAD for each of this week’s home games. About 30 minutes after the announcement, Thursday’s game had sold out of regularly priced seats.

Tickets found on re-sale site Stub Hub were also priced starting at US$40 on Monday morning but within minutes of the news, prices shot up to US$185 for upper bowl seats to Thursday’s game. By Monday afternoon, the cheapest tickets were going for US$235.
