B.C.’s most innovative companies

Three B.C. companies made it onto the Canadian Innovation Exchange’s list of Canada’s 20 most innovative companies for 2017. Aspect Biosystems is a Vancouver company working in the area of 3D bioprinting and tissue engineering—making living tissue that other biotech and pharmaceutical companies can use to test their therapies on. Burnaby-based Clio is a developer of practice management software for law firms. FI.Span of Vancouver helps banks integrate financial technology into their business operations.

Companies were chosen based on a number of key factors including product/service offering, depth of management, market opportunity, and business model.
