The 37th annual Vancouver International Film Festival 2018 showed more than 340 films from 55 countries over 16 days

Between September 27 and October 12, this year’s Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) treated audiences to fiction, documentary and genre-defying films that entertained, informed and inspired. VIFF also presented expansive programs including forums, master classes and musical artist showcases.

As always, this year’s gala parties were the hot ticket including the VIFF opening gala at the Vancouver Club; the BC Spotlight party at Blackbird Public House; and the VIFF closing gala at Glowbal Restaurant.

Founded in 1982, the Greater Vancouver International Film Festival Society is a not-for-profit cultural organization that operates the internationally acclaimed Vancouver International Film Festival and the year-round programming of the Vancity Theatre at the Vancouver International Film Centre. VIFF is among the five largest film festivals in North America.
