How to Network Like an Extrovert

Making business connections with grace, charm and maybe slight aggression

1. Stay mobile to ensure that you are able to make contact with everyone. If running helps achieve this goal, so be it.
2. Come locked and loaded with a sufficient number of business cards and deploy this ammo freely.
3. Never be the first to let go after a handshake or the first to break eye contact. Never.
4. If you doubt your presence is being noted, speak louder. Everyone should have the pleasure of hearing your thoughts.
5. No one will know your impressive accomplishments unless you self-promote. Bring a printed copy of your LinkedIn profile for verification, should doubters need proof.
6. People are attracted to shiny objects–add flair to your outfit to stand out in the crowd.
