The event at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver's Roof Restaurant raises $105,000 in support of Diabetes Canada
On June 21, almost 200 guests filled the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver’s Roof Restaurant & Bar for Midsummer’s Eve, a cocktail party and auction in support of Diabetes Canada presented by the CRS Group of Companies. Guests enjoyed a stand-up reception and an opportunity to bid on silent auction items. The event raised $105,000.
Breakfast Television’s Riaz Meghji was the emcee, and the gala chair was Corus Entertainment travel media personality Cheryl MacKinnon. Point Blank Entertainment’s Howard Blank conducted the live auction. Funds raised will help Diabetes Canada deliver on it’s mission to lead the fight against Diabetes.
Diabetes Canada leads the fight against diabetes by helping those affected by the disease live healthy lives, preventing the onset and consequences of diabetes, and discovering a cure. Diabetes Canada is the national voice for millions of Canadians living with diabetes or prediabetes.
