If you buy, sell, serve or market wine, the 12-event Trade Days program at the Vancouver International Wine Festival is for you. It's an incomparable way to increase your wine knowledge and expertise. And grow your business. Trade Days Conference runs February 27-March 1.

The conference is an integral part of VIWF, Canada's top wine show and the "biggest wine festival in the Americas". Join fellow wine pros from throughout BC and across Canada.  Learn from some of the wine industry's top vine stars, including keynote speaker Jon Bonné, regarded as one of the most influential American voices on wine.

"In 2019, we are showcasing wines from California, a nod to the first festival back in 1979, which featured one California winery, Robert Mondavi," says VIWF executive director Harry Hertscheg. "Trade Days features an educational and engaging array of masterclasses, seminars, networking lunches, a symposium on wine markets, and of course the Trade Tastings, where you can meet face to face with vine stars from around the world."

Registration is required to buy trade tickets. For more information, please visit VIWF's Trade Days Conference. The heart of the festival is the Tasting Room at Vancouver Convention Centre, which hosts two Trade Tastings offering 875 wines, including 150 wines available to trade only.

To see sell-out status of all festival events, including Trade Days, please see Festival at a Glance. Note that some trade events are sold out.

Trade events are not available to consumers, but the public has plenty of choices at VanWineFest public events, including four big International Festival Tastings.

Vancouver International Wine Festival has been described as “the largest wine festival in the Americas” with 25,000+ admissions. It is Canada’s premier wine show and widely considered to be one of the best wine events in the world. At age 41, it is also among the oldest. Its slogan is “The Wine World is Here”. For the past six years, VIWF has been voted the #1 Food, Wine & Hospitality Event in Canada by New York’s BizBash. The 2019 festival offers 1,450 wines, 160 wineries and 15 countries at 54 events. The featured region is California, with 53 wineries in a special section of the big Tasting Room at Vancouver Convention Centre, plus 10 California-sponsored special events such as wine parties, lunches and seminars.
