21st Vancouver Symphony Lovers’ Ball

Event: 21st Annual Symphony Lovers' Ball Venue: Fairmont Hotel Vancouver Date: Feb. 3, 2011 On Thursday evening I found myself in a veritable fantasy world at the Lovers' Ball. It was an exquisite evening of food, wine, and dancing to the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Over 400 guests gathered in the Pacific Ballroom of the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver for an evening of indulgence. Sitar players seated atop cushions greeted honoured guests, who were promptly handed tall flutes of champagne upon their arrival.

The VSO Lovers’ Ball continues to garner donations in support of the VSO’s performance and education activities. Eminent Vancouverites were out in full force, giving generously to the Symphony Orchestra of Vancouver.
