Six factors to increase companies’ reorganization success rate

Rapid change demands companies to reorganize frequently, faster and more fundamentally, with higher risk of failure. Research by Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and 12 global partner organizations shows that there are six critical factors to successful reorganization: synchronizing design with strategy, clarifying roles and responsibilities, deploying the right leaders and the right capabilities, designing layer by layer (not just from the top down), minimizing execution risk, and reorganizing during a period of strength (rather than distress).
