Mayor of Surrey’s Charity Ball
New City Hall Plaza
October 18, 2013

More than 800 business and community leaders from around the Lower Mainland attended the Mayor of Surrey’s Charity Ball at the new City Hall Plaza in the heart of Surrey, presented by Coast Capital Savings. The theme was Monte Carlo and over $100,000 was raised in support of the Surrey Firefighters’ Charitable Society. The proceeds from this event fund several programs that deliver essential support to youth and the less fortunate in the Surrey community.

Guests walked the red carpet into the stunning reception hall as Mayor Dianne Watts mingled with the crowd at the cocktail reception, featuring celebrity chefs and raffle opportunities, including a trip to Sydney, Australia. After the reception guests made their way into the dining tent for a lavish dinner and a rock n’ roll concert performed by Colin James, presented by the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation.
