Over 400 people attended the Surrey Board of Trade’s 15th annual awards gala, held at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel, in Surrey. Presented by TD and KPU and emceed by Pamela Martin, the evening focused on the strengths and innovations of entrepreneurs to take an idea and use it for the foundation of building a business.

The evening featured the presentation of two honorary Special Achievement Awards to Murray Dinwoodie, retiring city manager of the City of Surrey, and Mike McKay, retiring superintendent of Surrey schools. Mayor of Surrey, Dianne Watts, also graced the stage prior to the awards presentation.
