The second CSuite Digital Leadership Awards appear to have shrugged off any possible sophomore slump. The awards, put on by Vancouver-based thought leadership agency CSuite Content, are the first competition of its kind to recognize the impact and achievements that leaders and executives have on social media and digital channels.

Last given out in 2020, the previous awards honoured local heavyweights like O2E Brands founder Brian Scudamore and The Forum CEO Paulina Cameron, as well as international figures like Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon.

This year, two local leaders highlight the list. Conner Galway, founder and president of Vancouver-based digital consulting agency Junction Consulting, won the Top Newsletter award for The Brief, a weekly digital and social media email newsletter.

And Greg Smith, co-founder and CEO of Vancouver edtech firm Thinkific, was awarded the Top Article or Blog Post award for his article on embracing the fears that come with an entrepreneurial journey.

Vancouver-based Karia Samaroo, co-founder of wealth generation firm WonderFi, also earned an honourable mention.

Note: BCBusiness editor-in-chief Nathan Caddell was one of nine judges for the CSuite Digital Leadership Awards.
