The celebration is open to the (vaccinated, masked-up) public
Our sister publication is hosting a party for the 50 most influential people in Vancouver, and like any good sibling, we‘re passing along the invite. (Don‘t tell our parents.) (Just kidding; if the ruling “parents” in this case are provincial health-care professionals, we are absolutely following their restrictions.)
Vancouver magazine‘s Power 50 event is on Tuesday, March 1, at the Vancouver Club, and all guests must be double-vaxxed and wear a mask to attend. Tickets are $49.95 plus GST.

The annual Power 50 list is always a mixed bag of political leaders, entrepreneurs, activists, artists and the odd celebrity (Ryan Reynolds is No. 49 this year, and unfortunately, we don‘t think he‘s attending the party). The Stanley Park coyotes are a highlight of the 2022 ranking (less unfortunately, they also won‘t be coming—something about the Vancouver Club‘s dress code).
For tickets to the event, here‘s the Eventbrite link—and for the complete list, here‘s Vanmag‘s story.
