BC Children’s Hospital Foundation 27th Annual Crystal Ball
Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver
November 28, 2013

Over 400 guests raised $2 million at the 27th annual Crystal Ball, presented by Beedie Living, held in support of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Proceeds from the gala pushed the Campaign for BC Children total to just over $200 million, reaching the goal for the construction of a new hospital.

Guests walked the red carpet and were photographed by the Christmas fundraising trees prior to entering the reception ballroom, where several silent auction items were on display for bidding before the dinner and the live auction.

“We promised our guests an extraordinary evening and I’d have to say they delivered,” said Teri Nicholas, president and CEO of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Since 2008 the Crystal Ball has raised over $6 million to support the construction of the new BC Children’s Hospital. Thanks to this event and the support of over 80,000 residents of the Yukon and British Columbia, we are celebrating the conclusion of a capital campaign that will have an impact on the care delivered to generations of children.”
