More than 400 guests attend awards luncheon

More than 400 guests attended Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Vancouver at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel on January 26. Co-presented by KPMG and SFU Beedie School of Business, the awards luncheon began with registration and networking with opening remarks by Rita Mizzi-Gago, PhaseNyne VP HR. Keynote addresses were made by Top 100 winner Lois Nahirney, president and CEO of dnaPower and SkinDNA Inc.; 2017 Top 100 winner Renee Merrifeld Wasylyk, partner and CEO of Troika Group; and 2017 Hall of Fame inductee Shannon Rogers, president and CEO of Global Relay.

Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winners now numbers 1,005 amazing women who affirm the power and potential of women across the country. This year celebrated the 2017 award winners, who have shown resilience, rallied others, overturned obstacles and paved a path for the next generation.
