The B.C. Technology Industry Association (BCTIA) announced the finalists for the Technology Impact Awards (TIAs) at their annual TechBrew event. Under the award’s theme of “B.C.’s Mark on the World,” the 2013 finalists reaffirm British Columbia’s status as a host to innovators in a cross-section of technologies including enterprise software, telecommunications, hardware, biotechnology and nanotechnology.

Attendees had the opportunity to experience B.C.’s cutting-edge technology and enjoy a pint during an evening of inspiration and networking. “The 2013 TIA finalists are clearly making their mark on the world, selling to and partnering with some of the largest organizations around the globe,” said BCTIA president Bill Tam. “These companies represent thousands of jobs, tens of millions in investment, research and development, and hundreds of millions in annual exports.”
